Doctors
DR STEPHEN LOCKE
The senior partner at Trowbridge Health Centre, Dr Locke qualified at St George’s Hospital Medical School, London in 1990, and trained as a GP in Bath. Dr Locke is a Clinical Director of the Trowbridge Primary Care Network, which is working at developing new services for the patients in Trowbridge.
DR CHARLIE BUNDY
Dr Bundy gained much of his experience working in Australia and New Zealand. On returning to the UK he completed his training to become a GP and has worked at Adcroft ever since. Dr Bundy has expertise in minor surgery and joint injections, as well as being actively involved in clinical research.
DR CAROL SHEPPARD
Dr Sheppard graduated from Southampton in 1990 & is married with 2 children. Her special interests are Diabetes, Womens health and ENT.
DR DICKON PONTY
Dr Ponty and has previous experience in elderly care medicine and Gastroenterology.
DR TIM ARGYLE
Normally works at the practice Monday-Wednesday.
DR HOWARD TANSLEY
Dr Tansley spent time in New Zealand working in A&E and as the doctor for a ski area. He has had experience in paediatric surgery, trained as a GP locally and has an interest in practical procedures and minor operations. Outside work he enjoys spending time with his young family.
DR LUCY AUSTRENG
Dr Austreng graduated from St George’s Hospital Medical School in 2017, before moving to Cheltenham to work initially as a Foundation Doctor and later in specialist roles within Paediatrics and Emergency Medicine. She moved to Bath in 2021 to start GP training, and has been a registrar at Trowbridge Health Centre since August 2023.
DR HARRY BIMBH
Dr Bimbh qualified in 1989 at the medical school of St Bartholomew’s hospital. He completed his General practice training at St Georges Hospital in Tooting before heading to the West country. He has developed further skills especially in cardiology where he heads up the Trowbridge Health Centre Cardiology service.

DR JEMMA FRYER
Dr Fryer studied medicine in Newcastle upon Tyne and moved to the South West following time working as a doctor in Borneo and New Zealand. She trained as a GP in Bath and now works as a salaried GP at the practice alongside work for the judiciary and doing appraisals for fellow GPs. She has a particular interest in women’s health including contraception and menopause. She is also part of the team that fit coils and contraceptive implants.
DR ALICE GARDNER
Dr Gardner studied medicine at Oxford University, graduating in 2006. After junior doctor years in Bristol, she joined the Bath GP Training scheme and was a GP trainee at Adcroft Surgery. Dr Gardner enjoys the variety of general practice and seeing patients of all ages, and has special interests in women's health and medical education. Dr Gardner is a GP Trainer and one of the Bath GP Training Programme Directors. She provides coil and contraceptive implant clinics.
DR HAIDEE HARRISON-CRANE
Dr Harrison-Crane studied at Bristol University for medical school then in Swindon for GP training. She has a special interest in end of life care and care of the elderly. She enjoys spending her weekends walking her dogs, bird watching or watching her husband play cricket.
DR KATE JACKSON
Dr Jackson trained and worked as a GP in Sheffield, before moving to London. She worked as the Local Medical Director at her surgery for 10 years. She was responsible for shaping clinical service provision, maintaining and monitoring clinical standards, clinical governance and training.
DR GEORGE KENNEY
Dr Kenney studied Biomedical Science at Liverpool John Moores University and then went abroad to study Medicine at Riga Stradins University. He did his GP training in Bath. He has a special interest in dermatology. In his spare time he enjoys hiking and photography as well as playing padel with friends.

Dr Stevenson graduated from Imperial College London in 2012, with a previous degree in Biological Sciences from Warwick University. She trained as a GP in Manchester and moved to this area to settle here with her husband and children. Having grown up in the Lake District, when not at work, she likes to spend time outdoors with her family and loves a good hike.
DR SARAH TAYLOR
Dr Taylor studied medicine at Peninsula College of Medicine and Dentistry and completed her GP training in Bath in 2019. She has a special interest in Sexual Health and Women's Health.
DR SARAH YATES
Dr Yates qualified in Southampton in 1997. She initially worked in Dorset and then Sussex, but completed her GP Training year in Bath in 2002. She has a special interest in psychiatry and does some work at the substance misuse service.
